Easy Stretches for Neck, Traps, and Shoulders: Advice from an Easley Massage Therapist

-Cross-Body Shoulder Stretch: Bring one arm across your body at shoulder height and gently press it towards your chest with your other hand until you feel a stretch in your trap muscles. Hold for 15-30 seconds, then switch sides.

3. Shoulder Stretches:

-Overhead Shoulder Stretch: Reach one arm overhead and bend it at the elbow, placing your hand down your back. Use your other hand to gently press on the elbow, feeling the stretch in your shoulder. Hold for 15-30 seconds, then switch sides.

-Wall Chest Stretch: Stand facing a wall and place one hand flat against it at shoulder height. Gently rotate your body away from the wall until you feel a stretch in your chest and shoulder. Hold for 15-30 seconds, then switch sides.
